Born Beverly Schmidt in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Beverly was always interested in Art and studied at Ivy School of Professional Art. During college, she studied abroad in Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy and Portugal and graduated from Ohio Northern University with a B.A. and teaching certification in Art.After college, Beverly continued to study oil painting and photography at the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Museum.
Since 1984, Atlanta, Georgia has been her home. Currently, her work consists of paintings, embossed hand -made paper collages and mixed media collages with themes of landscapes, nature and abstracts. 
Her work is found internationally in galleries, private collections, celebrity homes, hotels and corporations.
