Sylvia Coomes is a self taught  ne art photographer born in Killeen, Texas and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklaho- ma. She has always had a passion for art but becoming a photographer occurred by a twist of fate. In 2005 a pho- tographer did not show up for a wedding Sylvia was attending. She and the other guests captured the days events. From that day forward she has viewed the world in a different and beautiful way. Living and traveling through the United States, Europe, and Asia has greatly in uenced Sylvia’s art as well as her life. Her photos are a timeline of the amazing adventures she has had. Her portfolio consists of the beautiful mountainscapes of Utah, California’s palm trees and beaches, to the historic Greek Island of Santorini. Sylvia currently resides in Oklahoma with her husband, two children, and their puppy.
